Who’s eligible for student tickets?
Pretty much anyone with a valid student ID from a learning institution, including colleges and trade schools. Students too young to have ID qualify for the child price, so they’re covered either way.
-
What’s your Senior age?
60

Are minors allowed?
Minors are welcome for all shows, but the MPAA rating system still applies (see next question for details). For late shows (after 8pm or so) the atmosphere is a little more mature. All ages are still welcome, as long as they can act like grown ups for a couple hours.
-
What are your policies for MPAA ratings?
- Rated R – We won’t sell tickets directly to anyone under 17. A parent or other responsible adult can purchase tickets for people under 17, but only if they accompany the younger person(s) into the film. If you buy tickets online, we’ll verify age when you check in.
- PG13 – Basically the same as R, but with 13 years of age as the cut off. There’s a little grey area here, because most 13-year-olds don’t carry ID. That said, we know what an eight-year-old looks like, so common sense is the guide here.
- G and PG – All ages welcome.
-
Do you serve beer and cider?
Yes! We take pride in having the best tap list you’ll find in a Portland theater.
-
What kind of food do you have?
Popcorn and candy, mostly.
-
What’s on your popcorn? Is is vegan?
Our popcorn is popped in coconut oil with light seasoning. If left un-buttered, it’s vegan. We have salt, nutritional yeast, and a couple different hot sauces available.

Do you have assistive listening, visual narrative, or closed captioning devices?
At present, we have assistive listening headphones. We have parts on order for visual narrative and closed captioning, and we’ll update this as soon as they’re installed. These devices are available to anyone, though we do ask that you leave a Drivers License (or something to that effect) at the counter until you return them after the movie.
